Paris - Louvre Museum [Moat]

 

When the underground parking and entrance for the Louvre Museum was dug out in the 1980's & 1990's the design and building team fully expected to disccover this Moat from the original limits from the City of Paris dating back to the 1200's - the design team brilliantly incorporated this find into the lower ground entrance to the Museum.
