Robben Island - Leper Graveyard

 

Now this was interesting....Aparthied was a law that forced the separation of people on the basis of race. Before this Robben Island was used for the Lepers of South Arica, who, if I understand correctly, were removed from the mainland of South Africa and placed here, eventually to die. This is what remains today as a memory.
