Tuesday we visited "The Rock" or Alcatraz as it is known. Alcatraz is the Spanish word for "Pelican" which struck me as somewhat of an irony given what the Army Barracks, turned Prison, turned National Park is known for - for a moment there I thought I was in a scene with Connery, Cage and Ed Harris...
