Rome - The Sistine Chapel

We were not able to take pictures of the Sistine Chapel so I found this one on the Web for you. Please take my word for it, you could lose hours looking at the painstaking, visionary and relavatory work of a genius artist, who I believe was acting under inspiration to create this masterpiece. Michaelangelo spent 4 years on his back in the creation of this awe inspiring work.

You can just hear Pope Sixtus IV walking in, waving and arm and saying to a guest, 'we've had the decorators in.' Good taste in chapels, shame about the Inquisition he launched.
